In Afitos, Halkidiki, the “hit”
Video of the moment strangers removed three works of art, but also two pots with plants, from an informal exhibition in the village of Afitou pHalkidiki, reported GRTimes.
As can be seen from the movements of the perpetrators, they choose which works to remove. “Obviously they took them to decorate their space,” said the sculptor, former president of the community and one of the initiators of the original open gallery, Vassilis Pavlis.
According to information, the perpetrators “knocked” around 5 in the morning a few days ago in Afitos.
The sculptor Vassilis Pavlis for the theft of the three painted tins in Afitos, Halkidiki:
“A man and two women are clearly recorded removing the three tins, but also two simple pots with plants. They move by vehicle, but also on foot. In fact, from their movements, it can be seen that they are choosing what to take, that is, the women can be seen indicating to the man which ones to “pick up”, which makes us think that they wanted them to decorate their personal space” Mr. Pavlis explained the plans.
According to the same information, the theft has not been officially reported to ELAS.
