Two foreigners, 44 and 45 years old, were arrested, in the morning hours of 6-30-2023, in Kallithea, by police officers of the State Security Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate, accused of joint forgery, joint acceptance and distribution of criminal products and violation of the code immigration, social integration and other provisions.

In particular, following an investigation of information regarding the action of a foreigner, who was distributing stolen and forged travel documents of various states to other foreigners, either for their stay in Greek territory, or for them to be able to travel abroad, for a monetary fee of -5,000- euros , the 44th accused was located in the area of ​​Kallithea together with his 45-year-old co-accused and their criminal activity was certified.

During the control carried out by the above police officers, a total of -15- identity cards from various European countries, -1,325.18- euros, -3- mobile phone, -4- set of keys, -2 – fake driving licenses of Greek and foreign authorities, -2- driving licenses of Iraqi and Italian authorities, -1- passport of Iraqi authorities, all with the details of the 45-year-old.

During the searches that followed in houses related to their activity in Kallithea and in America Square, among others, the following were found and confiscated:

• Over 2,000 travel documents of European Union Countries and Third Countries (passports, driver’s licenses, residence permits, identity cards, etc.)
• -2- portable electronic computers
• -1- tablets
• Printer
• usb sticks
• -4,050- Egyptian pounds
• -5,297.18- euros

Inside the house in America Square, -7- additional foreigners were found and arrested, who lacked the necessary legalization documents for their stay in our country.

Those arrested with the case filed against them were taken to Mr. Criminal Prosecutor of Athens.
