A total of 39,546 program checks Social Tourism DYPA’s 2022-23 vouchers were activated in tourist accommodation in the country in June, as well as 9,665 ferry vouchers.

According to DYPA, this is a particularly enhanced and attractive program for both beneficiaries and providers, as it is characterized by reduced to zero private participation for beneficiaries in the cost of overnight stays in tourist accommodation and increased subsidized prices for providers.
Beneficiaries and beneficiaries can carry out up to six nights in a tourist accommodation that they choose from the “Register of Providers” of DYPA, after their direct consultation with the provider.
Especially, for accommodation in Leros, Lesbos, Chios, Kos and in the prefecture of Evrosy, up to 10 nights can be spent with zero private participation, while in the accommodations of the municipalities of Istiaea-Edipsos and Mantoudi-Limni-Ag. Annas of North Evia and Samos, up to 12 nights can be spent completely free of charge.
In addition to staying in tourist accommodation, they are also subsidized ferry tickets.
The participation of the general category of beneficiaries amounts to 25% and those with many children to 20%.For the disabled, the ferry tickets are available free of charge.
