The candidate for mayor of Aegina Sila Alexiou and the municipal faction “Together FORWARD for Aegina”, are organizing a Two-Day Open Dialogue under the symbolic and meaningful title “Aegina 2028”, on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 July from 19.00 – 22.00 at the “DANAI” hotel.

With the milestone of the 200th anniversary of the Inauguration of Ioannis Kapodistrias and the proclamation of Aegina as the First Capital of Newer Greece, we envision and plan the future of our historic island, as imposed on us by the era of great challenges we are going through. And we open sails for a New, Modern, Reborn Aegina, worthy of its history and the many unused advantages it inherited from nature, culture and its people.

Our goal is for this public consultation to highlight and summarize the experience of renowned scientists, technocrats and self-governing officials, for a series of critical sectors of the economic, social, environmental, touristic and cultural development of Aegina, in view of the final formulation of the Positions and Commitments of the Program Declaration of our combination for the municipal elections of October 8, 2023.

The participation of all our interested fellow citizens, within the framework of the open thematic dialogue procedures of the two-day event, will greatly honor us and will be a driving force in our great effort.

The two-day event will be coordinated by journalists, Phoivos Karzis, Kostas Kofinas and Irini Toli, Honorary President and member of the Board of Directors of HAPCO & DES, General Manager of the ERA Company – Conference Organization – Tourism Enterprises.
