A 42-year-old foreigner was arrested in connection with the case for violating the Drug and Weapons Act
The case of finding more than 28 kilograms of cannabis in a store in Zografou on 4/7/23 was investigated by the Attica Security Directorate.
As ELAS announced, a 42-year-old foreigner was arrested for the case on Tuesday (11/7) in the morning of Zografou for violating the law on drugs and weapons, while the case file also includes a 43-year-old Greek woman and a 25-year-old foreigner .
Regarding the timeline of the case, during the recording of movable property by a bailiff, 28 kilograms and 511 grams of raw and processed cannabis were found in the store.
A preliminary investigation followed, in the context of which evidence and data related to the lease of the property were used, as a result of which the defendants were identified as being involved in the case.
At the same time, the residence address of the 43-year-old and the 42-year-old in an apartment in the area of ​​Zografou emerged, where during the investigation carried out, in the presence of a judicial officer, the 42-year-old was located and arrested.
A total of 7 kg and 699 grams of raw cannabis, 20 kg and 812 grams of processed cannabis, a folding knife and a mobile phone were found and seized during the searches.
The arrested person was taken to the competent prosecuting authority, while the investigations to identify his accomplices, as well as any others involved, continue.
