The cat was pregnant and after the incident her babies died
The incidents are endless abuse of stray animals in Cretewith a new case coming to light following the complaint.
It is about a man about 50 years old, who owns a cafe-restaurant in the village of Houstouliana in the municipality of Gortynas in Heraklion, who, as can be seen in the video published by neakriti.gr, kicks a cat which was actually pregnant.
As reported by a witness “the cat was under a table of tourists meowing but not bothering when the 50-year-old chased it away and kicked it, leaving customers and bystanders speechless”
According to her, the incident occurred about two weeks ago, with similar scenes with stray animals having been repeated other times by the 50-year-old man.
“When we saw what was happening we were horrified, the kitten was being cared for here in the neighborhood and as far as I know she was pregnant, but after the abuse she lost her babies,” he claimed.
A complaint has been made to the police about the specific incident of abuse of the cat, who also have the video from the security cameras in their hands.
