By aerial means and teams “Deucalion” and “Xenocrates”
The Armed Forces participated in the fronts of the fires in Kouvara, Loutraki, Derbenochoria of Boeotia and Embona of Rhodes with aerial vehicles and “Deucalion” and “Xenokratis” teams.
Specifically, in the wider area Saronidas-Kouvara 50 people from the “Xenokratis” plan, two “Deucalion” teams with 22 people in total and an ambulance are operating.

Sta Dervenohoria they operate 6 earth movers, two buses, eight utility vehicles and two “Deucalion” teams with a total of 22 people.
To Embona Rhodes operates a Chinook helicopter, two earth movers, a grader, an excavator, two dump trucks, two fire trucks as well as two tow trucks.
An additional six CL-215 aircraft, four CL-415, 16 PZL and 3 Chinook helicopters operate in Kouvara-Saronida, Dervenochoria and Loutraki, according to the needs and instructions of Civil Protection.
All the means-machines of the Armed Forces are still ready for disposal, following the instructions of the Civil Protection.
Furthermore, in the field of land surveillancethroughout the territory, the deployment of 82 patrols and the staffing of four fire stations is planned for today, with the involvement of a total of 470 people with 235 vehicles.
