The Minister of Labor appeals to employers to comply with the prescribed instructions in view of the heat wave Adonis Georgiades in a post on twitter.

At the same time speaking to 100.3 he emphasized that a detailed circular has been issued and the aim is not to endanger anyone’s life.

At the same time, it is mentioned in a news circulated on social networks that two companies in Mandra Attica prevented their workers from leaving despite the great burden on the atmosphere from the fires in this area saying the following:

“The day before yesterday, the news circulated on social media and the internet that two companies in Mandra Attica hindered the workers them to leave despite the heavy burden on the atmosphere from the fires in this area. The Independent Labor Inspectorate audited these companies and found the following: Neither company was in danger. One even fired its staff much earlier than the directive. The other at noon, but without any danger for the workers. Any such complaint will be promptly investigated. I call on both employers and employees to comply with our instructions especially from today when, in addition to the fires, we also have the arrival of new high temperatures at the level of a heat wave”.
