The threshold of the Thessaloniki Courthouse was passed shortly after 11:00 in the morning the 29-year-old self-confessed perpetrator of the murder of a 64-year-old man in Menemeni.

According to what the 29-year-old perpetrator allegedly confessed, he went to the victim’s apartment in order to perform work for which he would be paid. During the work, the victim tried to rape him. Then, according to the confession of the 29-year-old, a struggle ensued between them, in order for the perpetrator to escape from the 64-year-old.

During the struggle, the self-confessed killer punched the victim in the face and immediately tied the 64-year-old’s neck with a rope. He was then taken to the kitchen of the apartment, where he took three knives from the kitchen of the apartment. He nailed two to the mattress and placed the third in the groin area of ​​the victim.

The horrifying part of his confession is that the perpetrator allegedly told the authorities that with a sponge he found in the apartment and with the victim’s blood, he wrote on the wall of the apartment: “PAIDERASTI – 1”.

Immediately after the 29-year-old’s confession, the police went to the apartment he indicated and found the 64-year-old naked on the floor and in a pool of blood. The same information from thestival states that the victim was stabbed twice in the face, while there was a rope around his neck, one end of which was tied to a piece of furniture.

The case has been taken over by the Crimes Against Life Department of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate.
