The fire in Rhodes rages uncontrollably for the sixth day.
Speaking to SKAI on Sunday morning, the representative of the Fire Department, John the Bakerstated that all forces are operating on three fronts, between Kiotarius and Gennadius, at Laerma, and south-southwest of Apollo.
He pointed out that the pre-investigation process is ongoing, evidence is being collected and several people have been called to testify.
The fires are started by human hands, it will be examined whether they are due to negligence or intent, he said.
“People have been summoned for depositions and others will be summoned. As soon as we have complete information, because the investigation is in full progress, we will make announcements,” he said.
According to Mr. Artophios, the firefighters are on their feet for the fire, while he also referred to the “red” alert map that is valid for today with several areas having a risk of danger 5.
“A lot of attention is needed today,” the Fire Department spokesman said.
Baker: Reinforcement of pedestrian sections

Next come the airplanes that throw the water there with intensity.
It is a difficult operation, he stressed, adding that yesterday the wind did a lot of damage.
Mr. Baker pointed out that the conditions are not helping because of the great drought and the density of the biomass.
