It is noted, the hooligans arrived in Athens despite the fact that the movement of fans from Croatia was prohibited – What the AADE sources said
AADE sources clarify that the entry of its Croatian hooligans Dinamo Zagreb in our country it was done piecemeal, by customs, and not as organized as convoys.
“Checks were carried out by customs officials in their area of competence, several were asked “where are you going”, they answered “in a race”, cars were checked, nothing was found” the sources of AADE characteristically stated.
New facts are coming to light regarding her arrival of the Croatian hooligans of Dinamo Zagreb in Greece. As SKAI reveals, the Greek authorities had been informed in writing that dangerous organized fans were arriving in Athens, with specific license plates.
It is noted, the hooligans arrived in Athens despite the fact that the movement of fans from Croatia had been banned.
Therefore, an EDE has been ordered for the actions of the Police, while earlier by order of the Minister of Citizen Protection Yiannis Oikonomou it was announced that 7 officers are being removed.
“Regarding the fact of Dinamo Zagreb fans crossing the Greek border, their journey inside Greece and their final arrival at the scene of the incidents, I will not mince my words. The event is inadmissible and unacceptable, as it is clearly below the capabilities and proven ability of the Hellenic Police, which, although it proceeded quickly to bring in and arrest 98 people, it failed in the area of prevention and deterrence. characteristically said Mr. Economou.
