Two AEK fans, aged 20 and 21, were arrested in the context of the drive yesterday morning, 10-8-2023, by police officers of the DI.AS Team, for the attack that took place in the cafeteria behind the Panathinaikos stadium, co-owner of which he is one of those arrested for participation in the bloody episodes in New Philadelphia.

It is recalled that in the early hours of yesterday, a group of people riding two-wheelers went to the store and after causing damage to its glass facade, they left.

After searches, the police found a two-wheeled motorcycle with two occupants in the area of ​​Exarchia and took them to the headquarters of the Sub-Directorate for Combating Violence in Sports Venues, where they were identified as the perpetrators of the attack.

In their possession and inside the motorcycle were found and confiscated:

· nylon package with 3 grams of cannabis,

· folding knife,

· gloves, “full face” type hood,

· hammer and pliers

· 6 sprays and various accessories, items and clothes (stickers, key rings, T-shirt, etc.) with the AEK brand.

A case file was filed against the arrested for violation of the sports legislation, the legislation on drugs, on weapons and damage to foreign property.

The arrested were taken to the public prosecutor, while the investigation to identify and locate the others involved continues.

It is noted that after the attack on the cafeteria, the police made 13 arrests. No evidence emerged of their involvement in the damage to the store, but three of the suspects were arrested, one for drug possession and the other two for possession of flares and disorderly conduct. The rest were released.
