Seven people were eventually brought before the prosecutor, for the incidents that occurred at dawn in Zefyri, Attica, where three policemen were slightly injured, according to the information from the Police.

Specifically, as announced by GADA, in the early hours of today (12-8-2023) they were arrested, in the context of the car traffic, by OPKE police officers. of the Attica Security Directorate, 3 citizens, aged 25, 27 and 28, accused of insults, threats, bodily harm and violence against employees.

In particular, in the early hours of the morning, the police went to a house in the area of ​​Zefyri for an incident of disturbance due to music.

Upon their arrival, about 10 people came out of the house throwing stones, stones and other objects at them, injuring 3 policemen, while the 28-year-old man, driving a vehicle, tried to lure them away and then escaped.

The policemen, following a search, located the 28-year-old man a little later and took him to the Zefirio Police Station, where two other citizens involved in the aforementioned incident had earlier been taken.

A little earlier, by the same Crime Prevention and Suppression Team, a 38-year-old citizen was located in the area of ​​Zefyri, against whom an arrest warrant was pending for a violation of the drug laws, who tried to escape in the sight of the police but failed to do so.

In his attempt to escape, a 35-year-old citizen and 2 other citizens, aged 20 and 31, tried to help him, who together with the 38-year-old were taken to the Zephyrio Security Department, which was held for preliminary investigation.

A case file was filed against them for violence against employees, insults and threats, while during their escape attempt they also injured a police officer.

The arrested, with the case files filed against them by the Zephyrio Police Department and the Zephyrio Security Department respectively, were taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Athens.
