The public transport is expected to operate with problems in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 25, due to the unfavorable weather conditions caused by “Elpis” in Attica.
In particular, the data so far on the road network of Athens due to the continuing heavy snowfall, make it impossible to perform the morning routes by bus and trolley.
OSY supervisory teams in collaboration with the Attica Traffic Police will conduct autopsies from the early morning hours, in order to re-evaluate the situation for the gradual restoration of the passenger service by road, to the extent that the weather conditions allow, always guided the safety of workers and passengers.
Priority, if this becomes possible, will be given in the center of Athens and Piraeus in order to cover the main roads.

Regarding the operation of fixed orbit means:
In line 1 of the Metro (former ISAP) from the start of traffic, the routes will be in the section Piraeus – Attica and vice versa.
On lines 2 & 3 of the Metro, the trains will run normally from the start of operation, while the Metro services to and from the Airport will not take place.
Finally, the Tram trains will start their routes on both lines at 8 in the morning.
