He had held more than 20 individual photography exhibitions in Greece and abroad. In 1993 he created Asterismos publications and had published seven books.

Informed of the loss of Lisa Evert, the Minister of Culture, Lina Mendoni, made the following statement:

“We are saddened to say goodbye to photographer and writer Lisa Evert, a multi-talented personality with a special sensitivity, ahead of her time. Daughter of the famous American archaeologist Eugene Vanderpool, a great Philhellenic, deep connoisseur and scholar of Greek antiquity, she walked and loved the archaeological sites and Greek history from an early age. Through her lens, the cultural presence of Hellenism is captured throughout the great historical period, in the Greek area but also in the diaspora. In her exhibitions and the many albums she published, Lisa Evert recorded and highlighted the many faces of Greece, a culture resistant, with roots and duration. Emancipated and discreet, next to Miltiadis Evert, she identifies her art with Greece. Sincere condolences to her daughters, Alexia and Ileana.”
