Curfew in the peri-urban forest of Thessaloniki, in the forest area of Oreiokastro, Pylaia – Hortiatis and Thermi, is still valid today until midnight due to the very high risk of fire, by decision of the deputy regional governor of the Metropolitan Unity of Thessaloniki, Voulas Patoulidou.
In particular, the traffic of pedestrians and vehicles of any kind is prohibited in the part of the Periastiko forest of Thessaloniki (Sheikh-Sou) which is surrounded by the Peripheral Road of Thessaloniki, the provincial road of Pefkon – Asvestohoriou – Exokhis and the provincial road of ThessalonikiPanoramato-Hortiati, in the forest area of Oriokastro ( Oreokastro Forestry), in the Panorama Forestry (from XDA Platanakia to the Shooting Range) and in the forest area of Thermi, specifically near the Environmental Park and the Isenli Forestry.
It is addressed to citizens appeal to comply with the instructions of the authorities, to respect the access prohibitions and to be vigilant. It is recalled that the aforementioned bans were also in effect yesterday.
