The front is expanding over large areas and now the threat to the first houses is immediate – Two evacuation messages in the last hour from 112
The big fire in Psachna, Evia, which started in the morning in the area of Prophet Ilias very close to the University facilities, continues to burn everything in front of it and from there it took on large dimensions.
The fire has developed a huge front and the entire area, even the city of Chalkida, has been filled with smoke while at the same time residential areas are threatened.
At this time, ground and air forces, firefighters and volunteers, are trying to stop the front of the fire so that it does not advance towards Vatona as there is a forest there and from the moment the fire enters the forest, the problems will become insurmountable.
