A major operation is underway, coordinated by the health authorities, to evacuate the University Hospital of Alexandroupolis as the flames from the large fire that broke out earlier today at noon in Dadia of Evros are threateningly approaching.
As Evros Deputy Governor Dimitris Petrovich told skai.gr, the fire from Dadia in a few hours traveled a distance of about 40 kilometers and came to join the big fire that has been burning for days in Alexandroupolis.
