Attica is among the areas that are at high risk
High fire risk (Category 3) tomorrow Tuesday, August 29 in 21 areas of the country.
According to the Fire Risk Prediction Map issued by the general secretariat of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection (civilprotection.gov.gr), a high risk of fire (risk category 3) is predicted tomorrow Tuesday (29.08.2023) for 21 regions of the country among them Attica.
Specifically, a high risk of fire is predicted for the following areas:
Attica, Kythira, Evia, Boeotia, Phocis, Fthiotida, Rhodope, Evros, Corinth, Argolis, Laconia, Messinia, Ilia, Achaia, Arcadia, Dodecanese, Cyclades, Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Ithaca, Crete

The general secretariat of Civil Protection (civilprotection.gov.gr) of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection has informed the relevant government agencies involved in the official service, as well as the Regions and Municipalities of the above regions, so that they are on increased civil protection readiness in order to face any fire incidents immediately.
