A female student and two police officers were injured during incidents in the polytechnic campus on the occasion of the evacuation of the Chemical Engineering faculty that had been under occupation for twenty years. The two police officers were slightly injured while the student had to be taken to the hospital to be given first aid, according to a report by SKAI’s Decatians.
According to the Rectorate which informed the police authorities, initially twenty people took part in the occupation to eventually reach a hundred, resulting in a problematic situation due to the damage that is occurring in the area.
During the police intervention, the student was injured by a passing motorbike, it has not been confirmed whether it was a police motorbike. According to the SKAI video, it appears that one of the police cars hits a girl.
In GADA, 25 arrests were made of which three were converted into arrests after it was established that these three persons were involved in the incidents.
