The intense rainfall that continues to fall with intensity in the Trikala Regional Unit has “swollen” rivers and streams, putting the relevant services on alert. At the same time, rockfalls occurred in the mountain massif on the road network, but 36 vehicles of the P.E. Trikala have been helping successfully since the morning, as a result of which the roads are clear for vehicle traffic.

The deputy governor of Trikala, Mr. Christos Michalakis, in statements to the Athenian-Macedonian News Agency, recommends that citizens avoid unnecessary travel or travel at low speeds, as the road network in some places has been covered by amounts of water.
