A 112 message was sent to the residents of Attica a few minutes before 8:30 p.m. asking them to limit their movements due to the bad weather that is ongoing in our country.

The downpour in the region of Attica has turned the streets of the capital and its suburbs into rivers, causing traffic confusion and dangers.

A torrent of water sweeps away two women in the center of Athens

The images in Vas are shocking. Sophia at Evangelismos station with two women being swept away by the rushing waters.

In the video, one of the two women is seen trying to hold on without succeeding as the water drags her for several meters while the attempt of passers-by to cross the road supporting each other is captured.
