Referring to the losses of Malena and Iris and the way Georgina experienced them, the witness said: “It seemed to affect her at first but she was a child. She was asking about Malena and her mom told her that she is a little angel in heaven. Sometimes he would look at the sky and greet her. For Iris, she hadn’t had time to realize it. She asked us if she is with Malena and we said yes. She was upset at first. He didn’t play much, he didn’t dance the same. She was monitored by a child psychologist at school.”
The defendant’s uncle, Yiannis Legatos testified that Roula Pispirigou “had grown up with the values of our family. We were a famous family because of football. “Over time I realized that the couple was quite close and could face life’s difficulties. Then things went wrong somewhere. With the deaths of the children. When you lose a child, things shake. Of course, with the loss of the first child, they were still pretty good for what they had been through.”
