The girl ended up after a week of hospitalization at the ORYLA clinic where she was admitted with tonsillitis
The results of the autopsy are expected today from the Forensic and Toxicology Laboratory of the University of Ioannina, in order to provide answers about the causes that led to death the 20-year-old student.
According to information, within the next few hours the decision of the family of the deceased girl is expected on the appointment or not of her own technical advisor.
This was also the main reason why the autopsy was not done until now.
The death of the student from Chios has shocked the whole of Greece.
The case is already being investigated by the Police, while an urgent preliminary investigation is being conducted by order of the 6th Ministry of Health. In this context, doctors and other staff of the University Hospital testify.
The girl ended up after a week of hospitalization at the ORYLA clinic where she was admitted with tonsillitis.
During her hospitalization, she was reportedly examined by an infectious disease specialist and underwent a CT scan.
However, her condition worsened, causing her to suffer a seizure until she was transferred to the ICU.
This fact is unprecedented for the University Hospital of Ioannina and causes more than questions and serious concerns.
