A truck, with the mayor in charge, was unloaded in the warehouses of the municipality of Trikkaia. The mayor of Heraklion, Attica, Nikos Babalos, himself brought to Trikala the help offered by the residents of the municipality of Attica. First aid items have arrived and are already being distributed to those in need after the disaster that also hit the Thessalian Municipality.

The help and assistance received by the affected areas from other municipalities is also extended to machinery supply. In particular, five municipalities of the country contributed to the project of repairing damages in the town and villages of the municipality of Trikkaia. The municipalities of Grevena, Servia, Ioannita, Lamia and Kozani responded immediately to the request of the mayor of Trikkaia, Nikos Sakkas, and offered drivers and machinery to help with the damage restoration project.

These vehicles joined the fleet of the Municipality of Trikkaia and their operators used or are using them based on needs and planning.

At the same time, the 43 State Aid Committees established in the Region of Thessaly continue the work of recording and assessment. Businesses and non-profit organizations that have been affected by the floods, according to the Region of Thessaly, are entitled to a grant to deal with material damage, equal to a percentage of the damage that will be assessed by the Committees.
