An 18-year-old foreigner and a 15-year-old citizen were arrested, as part of the drive, on Friday night (15-9-2023), at the ISAP “Irini” station, accused of two consecutive cases of robbery against minors.

In particular, according to the police, on Friday afternoon, inside the OAKA, a group of three persons approached a minor and, using physical violence, pulled and removed a gold chain from his neck and fled.

A little later, outside the “Irini” station, they removed a gold chain with a cross from the neck of another minor in the same way.

Then, when the defendants realized that they were spotted by police officers, who were at the scene, they threw the chain on the ground and tried to escape.

The police managed to immobilize two of them and took them to the Amarousi Security Department, where they were identified as perpetrators of the above crimes, while the chain was attributed to the victim.

The arrested persons, with the case filed against them by the Amarousi Security Department, were taken to the competent prosecutor.

Finally, as pointed out in a related announcement, “the Greek Police, with coordinated actions, confronts and works methodically to prevent delinquent behavior, especially of minors”.
