Students, whether vaccinated or not, as well as vaccinated teachers, from schools that were closed last week due to bad weather, should arrive on Monday having taken an additional self test up to 24 hours before, so do three (3) on week 31 / 1-4 / 2, reminds with its announcement the Ministry of Education.
Self-tests, therefore, in the schools that remained closed last week, will take place up to 24 hours before the arrival of Monday (31/1), Tuesday (1/2) and Friday (4/2).
Teachers who are not vaccinated will have to take two rapid tests and a self-test, all at their own expense. The rapid test should be performed up to 48 hours before the arrival of Monday (31/1) and Friday (4/2) while the self test should be performed up to 24 hours before the arrival of Tuesday (1/2).
In the other schools that operated normally last week or that were suspended due to bad weather but reopened on Thursday or Friday with a self-test, the normal procedure of two inspections per week applies, before arriving on Tuesday (1/2) and Friday ( 4/2).
It is reminded that:
Screening for the new coronavirus through self-test is mandatory for all students, vaccinated and not, as well as for vaccinated teachers.
All students from 4 to 18 years old as well as the vaccinated teachers must bring a negative self-test certificate.
The parents / guardians of the students / three who attend public school units and the vaccinated teachers who work in them register the statement and the result on the edupass.gov.gr platform, from which the School Card for COVID-19 is issued.
The parents / guardians of the students / three who attend private schools and the vaccinated teachers who work in them continue to declare the result of the self-tests on the platform self-testing.gov.gr and issue the School Card for COVID-19 .
We continue to urge parents of students 5 years of age and older to vaccinate their children, to use this powerful weapon of science against COVID-19.
