Karaoglou: The motion of censure is the political Waterloo of SYRIZA

by

ND MP Theodoros Karaoglou likened the motion of censure filed by SYRIZA against the New Democracy government to a “political Waterloo of the official opposition”. “The political initiative taken by Alexis Tsipras indicates his political despair and leads him to existential mistakes. It is the desperate effort for your political survival,” said Mr. Karaoglou, addressing the SYRIZA Parliamentary Group, noting that its real motivation Koumoundourou is to stop the collapse that he records in all the polls.

“You are telling them to the New Democracy government so that they can hear them on KINAL. “You tell them to Kyriakos Mitsotakis so that Nikos Androulakis can hear them,” he said characteristically. He continued: “As long as you dream of returning to the failed yesterday you represent, we are leading the country forward! We make our self-criticism, we correct our mistakes, we have the audacity to sincerely apologize to our compatriots for failures and omissions. I do not remember doing the same in Mati where you were looking for “mistakes but you did not find”, despite the dead. “You did not do it either when you closed the banks and imposed capital controls, nor in the tragedy in Mandra”, said Theodoros Karaoglou, noting that SYRIZA has a heavy past of operational incompetence.

“The adaptability of government policy to the emergencies caused by the pandemic, the reforms but also the resilience of businesses have contributed greatly to make our national economy a growth champion at European level. On the front of international relations, Greece now has a strong voice. “The ‘breaking’ of squatting in universities puts an end to the fear and tolerance that has existed for decades, with the result that our universities are once again becoming places of education, knowledge, freedom and security,” he said. ND MP who observed that the debate taking place in Parliament confirms that SYRIZA’s political time is running out. “However, do not forget that he uttered the above phrase before Waterloo,” concluded his position. Mr. Karaoglou.
