From next week, and specifically from Wednesday, September 27, the priority number issuing platform will also operate in the land office of Eastern Attica, while Thessaloniki will follow, where citizens will be served from October 15 without queues, inconvenience and long hours of waiting, according to information from the Ministry of Digital Governance.

It should be mentioned that as of Monday, September 18, the platform is operating normally, without any problems, also at the Piraeus land office, where the interested parties were served immediately and easily as the priority number was obtained digitally through gov.gr.

It is recalled that the beginning was made with the Athens land office where the platform for issuing a priority number worked for the first time, enabling those interested to schedule their presence at the land office, as they receive the priority number on their mobile phone and can follow up at any time , through the platform, the evolution of waiting.

The issuing of numbers takes place on a daily basis and starts at 15:00 of the previous day. All numbers are personal and cannot be used by another person. Citizens can issue up to 4 numbers per day. They will need to fill in their personal Taxisnet passwords (after first registering in the National Register of Communications (NRC), in order to confirm their mobile phone number).

The Deputy Minister of Digital Governance, Konstantinos Kyranakis, has announced that until January 1, 2024, citizens will be able to transfer their property digitally, as long as it is registered. He added that from the first of January 2024, the electronic property transfer file will be operational “in which the notary will enter a digital application and will send an invitation through gov.gr to the buyer and seller and within this common digital environment the citizen will do everything. There will be a digital contract, so the title deed will be a digital document whose content will not need to be repeated on thousands of papers as is done today.”
