According to the EMY, heavy rains are expected from Monday in the affected Thessaly and in the following days to extend to other regions of the country.
Civil Protection has sounded the alarm in view of the new bad weather that is expected to affect the country.
Yesterday, a broad inter-ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, while tomorrow at noon at 13.00 another meeting is expected to take place based on the updated data.
The object will again be to inform the relevant ministries, the Security Forces, the OTAs of the first and second degree, and all the involved bodies about the wave of bad weather, which, according to the National Meteorological Service, it is expected to start on Monday from the affected Thessaly and in the following days to extend to other regions of the country.
In accordance with EMY Emergency Weather Deterioration Bulletinthe effects will be locally strong and on Monday they will be noted mainly in the western parts of Thessaly, western and central Sterea, Epirus, western Macedonia and possibly the Ionian.
More areas will be affected on Tuesday and Wednesday.
