38 traffic licenses, 23 driving licenses and 15 license plates were revoked, while 16 vehicles were immobilized
In the context of the new holistic plan to strengthen road safety, the targeted actions and specialized traffic controls of the Attica Traffic Directorate continued from 27 to 30 September 2023.
The actions this time focused on Alimo and Agia Varvara, with the aim of dealing with improvised illegal matches, noise pollution caused by exhausts and sound systems, as well as other dangerous violations.
In this context, 1,174 Code violations were confirmed, for which the corresponding administrative fines were imposed.
In detail, the violations confirmed were:
• 303 for not using a protective helmet,
• 202 for not using a seat belt,
• 58 for lack of silencer,
• 16 for tinted films,
• 16 for deprivation of driving license,
• 15 for noise from sound system use
• 7 for KTEO,
• 7 for mirror deprivation,
• 3 for unmounted plate,
• 2 for an uninsured vehicle,
• 2 for red traffic light,
• 1 for supernumerary,
• 1 for worn tires and
• 541 other violations.

The formation and consolidation of education, regarding road safety, is a permanent priority of the Greek Police. In this context, the Traffic services continue to be carried out every day, with rational planning and intensive controls in places where increased delinquency is observed.
The Hellenic Police operates with the aim of upholding the law, the drastic reduction of traffic accidents and the improvement of the road conditions for the protection of drivers, passengers and pedestrians.
