Tottenham-Liverpool: VAR and AVAR punished after Dias’ disallowed goal fiasco

In punishment of his people VAR in Tottenham-Liverpool, the Arbitration Committee of England proceeded, as was logical.

This is VAR, Darren England and AVAR, Dan Cook, who did it… in the phase with Dias’ disallowed goal. In particular, the first was designated as fourth in Nottingham Forest-Bradford, while the second as AVAR in Fulham-Chelsea. They were replaced by Craig Pawson and Eddie Smart, respectively.

It is recalled that, earlier, the English reports revealed that Darren England also saw that there was no offside. However, he had understood that the… goal had counted in the first year, from there he conveyed to the referee that the game can continue normally with the “check complete” feature! So when he found that 0-1 was not awarded, with Tottenham’s players taking the free-kick from the position Dias was flagged for offside, then it was now late and VAR could not step in to correct his mistake…

Earlier, the announcement by the Referees Association of England had been made, in which there was talk of a serious mistake.
