“We are watching for the umpteenth time and for another year the repeated attacks with stones on KTEL and tourist buses, in the middle of the night, literally terrorizing drivers and dozens of passengers.
The specific attacks, in fact, mainly take place just a few meters away from the Heraklion Police Station, at the exit of the airport to the national road.
There is an immediate danger from these attacks that the driver will lose control of the vehicle and we will mourn dozens of lives in an accident. We call on the state (Police) to activate every available mechanism to combat the phenomenon before it is too late.”
