The viewers trust SKAI for their information

The evolution of the pandemic and its effects, the political events, the extreme weather phenomena and the international political news starred in January.

The news and informative programs of SKAI dominated and recorded all developments with continuous flow, marathon connections, validity and immediacy.

The first choice of the TV audience was central newscast, with Sia Kosioni on weekdays and Nikos Stravelakis on weekends, which, regardless of broadcast time, gathered an average of 632,284 (14.4%) viewers in the general population.

Specifically, in terms of the total, the Nielsen measurements showed: SKAI 632,284 (14.4%), STAR 604,821 (13.8%), ALPHA 541,239 (13.4%), MEGA 540,098 (12.4%), ANT1 507,519 (12.6%), OPEN 261,752 (6.6%), ERT 220,564 (4.4%).

It maintained the top viewership in January and the meridian news bulletin with Eva Antonopoulou in the daily presentation and Marco Deimezis on the weekends, with a significant difference from the competition.

In particular, SKAI’s noon bulletin was watched by, on average, 551,332 viewers (20.8%), regardless of broadcast time.
Specifically regarding the general total, the measurements showed: SKAI 551,332 (20.8%), ANT1 352,541 (15.3%), ALPHA 294,978 (11.5%), MEGA 286,751 (12.6%), STAR 241,372 (8 , 5%), ERT1 243,580 (8.4%), OPEN 183,774 (7.2%).

SKAI news programs are also consistently first

SKAI news programs: Today, Unmatched, good morning with George Avtias and Weekend Group maintained the preference of the television audience in January as well.

The show “Today” with Dimitris Oikonomou and Maria Anastassopoulou maintained the first place in the ratings with a percentage of 20.1% in the general audience.

The “Unmatched”, Giannis Ntsounos and Christos Koutras also remained at the top, with an average viewership of 17.7% in the total population.

On weekends, the TV audience constantly chooses for its information the show “Kalimera” with Giorgos Avtias, with an average of 18.5% of the viewership for the general audience.

The “Weekend company” with Dimitris Kampourakis and Lena Flytzani is high in the viewers’ preference, with an average of 14% in the general audience.
