Today, her friends and those who loved her are expected to say goodbye to Mary Chronopoulos, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at her home, at 10 Alitheias Street, in Paiana.
At 13:30 the body of the actress – who passed away on October 6 – will travel to the Ritsona crematorium.
At 15:30 there will be a farewell in the crematorium room of Ritsona and at 16:25 the body will be received for cremation.
“This will be my ‘finale’, my last ‘party’. No coffin, all white. No one will know where I will be. My last “party” has another plan. Burning is a purification!” Mary Chronopoulou herself had stated in an earlier interview.
“We thank the Ministry of Culture for subsidizing the Mutual Aid Fund of the Union of Greek Actors to complete the process of the entire farewell ceremony of Mary Chronopoulou” says on behalf of the friends and relatives of Mary Chronopoulou, Sophia and Athena Stakia, Mr. Haris Papadopoulos, who undertook the organization and execution of Mary Chronopoulou’s last wish.
