Category 3 significant rainfall is expected – Local hail in the Ionian Islands, coastal parts of Epirus and western Mainland
The weather in our country will change tomorrow with rain and locally strong storms, mainly in the western and northern parts.
According to the classification of the precipitation episode (RPI), which is applied by the Meteo unit of the National Observatory of Athens, the precipitation episode is classified in Category 3 (Important).
According to the available prognostic data of the National Observatory of Athens / Meteo.gr, tomorrow rains and local storms are expected initially in Epirus, western Sterea and Macedonia.
The phenomena will gradually extend to the rest of the western and northern parts, while after noon they will affect areas of central Sterea, Thessaly and northern Evia.
Local rains are also expected in Crete, mainly in its mountainous parts.
The phenomena in Epirus, the northern Ionian and later in western Sterea will be intense in places, while local hailstorms are predicted in the Ionian islands and in the coastal parts of Epirus and western Sterea.
