Sirens sounded in Jerusalem and Tel Avivas long-range rockets were fired at Israel’s largest citiesin accordance with The Times of Israelnoting that it is probably the longer barrage of rockets since the initial attack on Israel on October 7.
Several loud explosions were heard over the areas, but there were no reports of injuries or damage.
The rockets were fired during the opening session of the Knesset, sending lawmakers and other attendants to shelter and delaying the session, which was suspended for 40 minutes before resuming.
