The brain death of the famous actor Ayanda Manthopoulou was diagnosed today, in the Antibiotic Therapy Unit of the Attikon hospital, where he had been hospitalized since October 9.

At the time, the 61-year-old actor had suffered a serious stroke, was transferred to the ICU and since then was hospitalized in a critical condition without being able to recover.

His family will proceed with organ donation, while an official announcement from the hospital is expected.

Aias Manthopoulos was born in Athens, grew up in a well-to-do urban family and was the nephew of Irini Papa.

He studied Economics at the University of Athens and acting at the school of Karolos Koun.

In addition to “Two Foreigners”, Aias Manthopoulos also participated in a few more serials, including “Aparadektoi”, “Africa” ​​and “The Stables of Erieta Zaimi”.
