Young students knocked on the door of Megaros Maximos unannounced and Kyriakos Mitsotakis welcomed them
The Prime Minister had a different and “off schedule” meeting in the morning.
While he was preparing to go to the Presidential Palace, as part of his regular talks with the President of the Republic, Kyriakos Mitsotakis was informed that male and female students of the 6th grade of the 130th primary school in Kato Patisia, had “knocked on the door” of Megaros Maximos, asking to see him.
The children had earlier visited the nearby presidential guard and, on the initiative of a student, they plucked up the courage and decided to ask the police officers guarding the prime minister’s residence if they could meet the Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The prime minister immediately told the children to come through and welcomed them, together with their teachers, in the drawing room of the Palacewhere he had the opportunity to answer questions about the history of the building, about the activities it hosts and about his obligations as prime minister.
Of course, the “prime minister’s” dog monopolized the children’s attention for quite some time Pinatawho was the first to meet the young visitors and play with them.
