He returns to Patras tomorrow the “Career Day” of the Public Employment Service (DYPA), which will take place at the Astir Hotel Patra (Agiou Andreou 16, Patra 262 21), from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

As stated in the relevant announcement, 1.5 years after the first event in the capital of Achaia, DYPA organizes the 21st “Career Day”, with the aim of giving those looking for work in the city of Patras and the wider region the opportunity to talk directly with representatives of companies looking for staff.

4 are going to participate in the event7 companies, with more than 1,000 jobs in many different specialties and levels of expertise.

Those interested will have the opportunity to chat with the executives of the companies, without a pre-arranged appointment and can choose a time slot, in order to avoid any delays upon their arrival.

Participating companies are active in sectors of economic activity, such as food, confectionery, plastics, machinery and various construction industries, gypsum products, etc., businesses active in the food trade and distribution, bakery, distillery, retail and supermarkets in general, the Information Society, the automobile, printing and graphic arts, metal constructions and buildings in general, while shipping agencies, educational organizations and tourism businesses also participate.

Specializations cover different levels of education, such as mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, architects, civil engineers, plumbers, electricians, electronics, mechanics, refrigeration, welders, ironworkers, machine operators, accountants, graphic designers, cashiers, salespeople, warehouse workers, bakers – pastry chefs, office workers, marketing executives, production workers, drivers, IT executives, teachers, customer service employees and tourism professions.

As part of the event, free counseling workshops will be held by specialized employment counselors of DYPA in thematic sections, such as creating an effective resume, appropriate preparation for an interview, etc.
