Timothée Salame is particularly carefulwhen it comes to talking about his former co-star Armie Hammer.

The two met when they starred in the film “Call Me by Your Name”but his career Hammer found himself on a downward spiral when in March 2021 he was accused of rape, while then personal messages of the actor and many women were leaked online revealing his sexual fantasies, such as cannibalism. All this became known when Salameh was preparing to play a cannibal in the film “Bones and All”.

Speaking to “GQ” magazine, Salameh said that at the time when all this became known he wondered: “What are the chances of us developing this thing?,” reflecting that it was a period when Hammer’s private life and the film he was about to make became identical. “It made me think, “Now do I really have to do this?”. Because actually this story is based on a book».

When asked how he took what was written about Hammer he said:I do not know. These things end up being used so heavily as bait. Disorientation is a good word».
