A Cuban was arrested for the burglary at the house of the New Democracy MP and meteorologist, Yannis Kallianou, ebut it is only a matter of time before the arrest of his two accomplices.

Yannis Kallianos, with his post, thanked the police for the arrest of the burglar of his house, speaking of a “rape of the soul that we suffered as a family” and characterizing the burglars as “beasts that destroy human souls”.

“It’s moving and shocking the way and the method that the officers of the Greek Police work and they deserve the respect of all of us. Every day they come face to face with hundreds of criminals and arrest them. They are real HEROES!” points out.

In detail, the post of Yiannis Kallianos

“Congratulations to the Hellenic Police, the South Attica Security Sub-Directorate, the DIAS team, the officers of the Ministry of Citizen Protection and also to the responsible Minister Giannis Economou for their yet another huge success in dismantling the gang of 3 people (a Chilean, a Cuban and a Roma) who had robbed and looted dozens of different houses in the Southern Suburbs of Athens, like mine 2 days ago.

The Cuban is already in his cell and will be brought to justice, while the remaining 2 members have been fully identified and it is a matter of a few hours before they too are arrested, if they have not already been arrested!

This rape of soul that we suffered as a family and that thousands of other families have suffered, I hope you will never experience it again.

These beasts that destroy human souls, whole families and years of hard work will be taken to where they deserve, in Greek justice and then in prison. That’s where they deserve and that’s where they should go!

All the items that were stolen from our house were also handed over to us. It is moving and shocking the way and the method that the officers of the Greek Police work and they deserve the respect of all of us. Every day they come face to face with hundreds of criminals and arrest them. They are real HEROES!

Please try to put cameras in your homes. I know it’s an extra expense, but it will save you in such cases and make the police’s job very easy. Thieves deserve to be in jail, that’s where they belong.

And one last thing that I want you to hear please because I read it in some comments, fortunately few. The dismantling of this gang did not happen because they happened to steal from me, who is a Member of Parliament. The Greek Police work hard day and night without discrimination and with the same intensity for everyone. That’s why she deserves millions of congratulations!

I am moved by their effort. Well done to them honestly, and sorry for the expression but these are the real guys who protect us every day! God be with them!
