As of today, interested parties have the possibility to request the issuance of a certificate of polytechnic status electronically through the Unified Digital Portal of the Government, gov.gr.

It is another service that is added to gov.gr and was implemented in the context of the cooperation of the ministers of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, and of Social Cohesion and Family, Sofia Zaharakis, with the signing of the respective joint ministerial decision (Government Gazette B΄ 6027).

Through a simple and friendly process, those interested can submit their application for the certificate of multi-disciplinary status electronically and receive it in their personal inbox at my.gov.gr, easily, without unnecessary paperwork and visits to services.

To submit the application, citizens connect with their personal Taxisnet codes.

They enter or confirm in the application the information required and attach a certificate of marital status and a photo of their multi-parent identity card. As soon as they complete the submission, the application is sent electronically to the Mailbox of the Supreme Confederation of Multiple Children of Greece at gov.gr, for the necessary control.

Citizens are informed by a message to their e-mail (email) and mobile phone (sms) about the receipt of the certificate in the personal inbox at my.gov.gr.

It is worth noting that the certificate of polytechnic status has the validity features of gov.gr, i.e. the unique code number in alphanumeric format and in QR format, as well as the advanced electronic signature of the Ministry of Digital Governance. It is therefore valid when it is traded both as an electronic document and as a paper.

The planning and development of the service was done by the Supreme Confederation of Multiple Children of Greece, the Ministry of Social Cohesion & Family, the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance and the National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures (EDYTE SA – GRNET) of the Ministry of Digital Governance.

Citizens’ information is collected through the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance of the Ministry of Digital Governance.
