From 9:30 to 11:30 in the morning, Poseidon Avenue is closed in both directions, in order to carry out a special operation, by the Land Mine Clearance Battalion, to neutralize a World War II bomb that was found in the area of Glyfada, after works.

Traffic regulations

The total stoppage of traffic will apply to both streams of Posidonos, from its junction with Vergoti Square to its junction with Alimos Avenue, as well as on Evryalis Street, in Glyfada. A parking ban will also apply on the same street from 21.00 on the 25th of the month until 12 noon on the 26th. Bus, KTEL and Tram routes are expected to be adjusted accordingly.

As stated in a statement by ELAS: “due to a controlled explosion for the neutralization of old-type ammunition, traffic regulations will be implemented in road sections of the Municipality of Glyfada and Ellinikos – Argyroupoli”.
