To open a humanitarian corridor in Gaza

My dear brothers,
All of us have been watching the bloody war in the Holy Land and especially in the Gaza area lately. We are saddened and indignant.
But I do not wish to send a political message.
I want to shout in all directions the need to immediately open a humanitarian corridor, so that aid to the displaced Palestinian civilians can reach them.
Both as an Orthodox Bishop and as a human being, I cannot and cannot continue to close our eyes to the violation of so many human rights.
People are dying of hunger and lack of water.
Life has no color, religion, language and gender.
Every life, every person deserves the same.
Jew or Palestinian, Jew or Muslim, Orthodox or Maronite, all of them are people and children of God.
I appeal to the powerful of the earth, to think about the crime that is being committed.
We have to help them.
We must stand by them and fight against every injustice, every act of terrorism.
To save the people in South Gaza.
To open the humanitarian corridor.
And may God put His hand to end this bloody war.
Every life is worth it!
