A traffic accident with one dead and one seriously injured occurred a little while ago under unknown circumstances in Heraklion, specifically at Paleokastro on the BOAK. In particular, two engines of large displacement, which were moving in opposite directions, collided, with their drivers, 45 and 62 years old respectively, being ejected, and the 62-year-old who was moving towards Rethymno losing his life, while the 45-year-old who was heading towards Heraklion is seriously injured.
The EKAV rescuers took the two men to PAGNI with the BOAK Traffic Investigation Unit having taken over the investigation into the fatal traffic accident.
