Investigating a robbery which was robbed last April at a transport company in Menemeni, Thessaloniki, where the perpetrators armed with two Kalashnikovs they grabbed 19,500 eurosEL.AS announced.

Five people are accused in the case, among them a 35-year-old Albanian and four Greeks, aged 23, 24, 25 and 36.

The 35-year-old and the 23-year-old are already in custody as they were arrested last June for possession of a small amount of cocaine and, as the case may be, for possession of a weapon (taser, cartridges and firearm magazine). The specific items were found in a car wash and cafe in Ampelokipi, Thessaloniki, managed by a foreigner. The detection of the Kalashnikovs in one of the specific operations also led to the investigation of the armed robbery for which they apologized and were remanded in custody.

Two of their accomplices were released with restrictive conditions, while the fifth is wanted with an arrest warrant.

The perpetrators seem to have used a stolen motorcycle, which was located in a wooded area and attributed to its rightful owner.
