According to reports in Spain and Argentinathe “blaugrana” on the occasion of these two important events for the club, are thinking of proposing to the Football Federation of Argentina to hold a friendly match for to honor Lionel Messi together.
If this happens, this will be after November 2024when the new stadium of the Catalan club is expected to be 60% ready, but a suitable date must be found for holding such a match, with the “Albiceleste” having on November 14 and 19 matches with Paraguay and Peru, respectively, for the World Cup qualifiers which does not allow such a thing.
Somehow a free date must be foundwith the options of December 2024 or the first months of 2025 being on the table, while at the same time the clubs in which the Argentina internationals play will have to give the “green light” for such an event that is not on their calendar FIFA.
