e-EFKA “opens” a “window” to personalized information for State pensioners in cooperation with the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance (GIPSPSD).

The new electronic service was launched on the agency’s website (www.efka.gov.gr) and, now, citizens are given the opportunity to monitor the progress of their pension application at a main public sector institution.

Specifically, the interested parties, after having previously authenticated using the taxis codesthey can follow the route: E-Services -> Thematic section: Public Employees & NPDD Electronic Services -> “Monitoring the progress of the pension application of the main body”.

As stated in the relevant announcement, the aim of the new service is to reduce the visits of prospective public sector pensioners to the relevant services and, at the same time, to increase their service rate.

Already, e-EFKA, with a multitude of modern electronic services (107 in total)has improved the level of service for citizens and, in particular, for the elderly and people with disabilities.

The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Adonis Georgiadis, said: “From the first day I assumed the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, I committed myself that we will work hard to win the battle of everyday life and make the lives of our fellow citizens better. Together with e-EFKA and the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance (GIPSPSD), we are launching a new electronic service for monitoring the progress of the pension application in the public sector. We continue to prioritize the strengthening of electronic services to reduce bureaucracy and upgrade the level of service to citizens.”
