For this man there is an irrevocable conviction for participating in fan incidents
In the arrest of a man, against whom an irrevocable conviction was pending for participation in fan incidents, the police proceeded. However, it is being investigated in parallel, if this man is involved in the murder of the AEK fan Michalis Katsouri, in New Philadelphia.
According to reports, this is one of the participants in the August 8 incidents outside the AEK stadium. Security camera footage shows him running alongside Michalis Katsouris and clashing with him while being chased by Croatian hooligans.
He had then been injured and hospitalized with broken arms and legs and had even been examined as a witness.
He has since been wanted in order to provide a DNA sample.
Most the sample is expected to be taken and it is expected to be compared with orphan DNA that has been found on a knife from the scene of the fight, which also contains the blood of the deceased Michalis Katsouris.
However, he himself is expected to be sent to prison, as an irrevocable conviction was pending against him for his participation in the incidents that broke out on the sidelines of the AEK – PAOK match in Volos for the Greek Cup.
